- Description: This Msitso, orchestral introductions to the Ngodo dance are fine examples of the classical style of starting the performance. Each Msitso is composed as pure music without a lyric base and Komukomu who dies in 1962 was a master of his craft, both as leader of his orchestra and a composer for over 30 years (See "Chopi Musicians" page 39). "Hingane malala". Full text and translation are on pages 47 and 51 of "Chopi Musicians. Owing to the shortage of acetate discs in South Africa during the 1939-45 war, this Ngodo was not recorded in full. Orchestral dance with six Timbila xylophones.
